PHOTOS: Anne Kansiime Names her Baby Selassie Ataho, Here is the Name Meaning

Just hours after she gave birth to her bouncing baby boy, comedy queen, Anne Kansiime has named him Selassie Ataho. And she posted a short but rather meaningful statement asserting that, it is for only Selassie Ataho that she has managed to see a miracle.

“My sins have been truly forgiven” Anne Kansiime captioned the photo of her and her son, meaning that, she has been harboring a heavy stone in her heart. Of not producing a child at her age amidst fame and random insults from haters on how she ‘sold her womb’ and how she would never have a baby.

The name Selassie Ataho literally means that, Kansiime and her boyfriend Skylanta are thanking God that he has PUT a miracle on their table. Ataho (meaning he puts) tells all Anne’s story of what she has been through. More so, Selassie is the name of the God Father of all Rastafarians and an Emperor in Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974, he was called Haile Selassie.

Since Anne Kansiime has a history of being a reggae lover and artiste of reggae, plus her boyfriend being a reggae artiste, we can now join the dots and get to know what the two really pulled out. In brief, Anne Kansiime’s child name Selassie Ataho means,  “God has put a miracle on my table”.
