The official mourning for the late Archbishop Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga starts tomorrow Monday, 5th April, 2021 with mass at 10 am at Lubaga Cathedral, Kampala without the body of the fallen cleric. And here is the burial arrangement for Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
The following day, Tuesday 6th March, 2021, his body will be transferred from the Mulago Hospital Mortuary to his ancestral home in Kyabakadde along Gayaza road. Thereafter, there shall be mass starting at 10 am and the body of Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga shall stay over night at his ancestral home before burial.
Further more, on Wednesday 7th April, 2021, there will be mass at Lubaga Cathedral starting at 10 am along with the viewing and paying last respects to the Archbishop in front of Lubaga Cathedral. He will finally be laid to rest on Thursday, 8th April, 2021 at 10am in besides Lubaga Cathedral.

This is the confirmed program since it has been forwarded to the Nuncial through the chairman episcopal to be approved and there after be implemented. This was again confirmed by the Vicar General.
Also according to our close sources from Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, we are reliably informed that there was a joint decision in the meeting basing on a communication from a family member that if there is a change in the decision for burial place, then the decision to lay him to rest at the Metropolitan Burial grounds will be reconsidered.
