KAMPALA – Sad news getting to our news desk indicate that a man, one Harold Kasujja allegedly dies after taking a lot of energy drinks. This brings a specific energy drink in the picture, called Rock Boom as per Kalungi’s suggestion, a relative to the deceased.
In her Social Media posts, a one Kalungi Bridget says that at first, Harold Kasujja got sharp pains in his shoulder, and he was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya. Only to be announced dead in a few hours. The same source reveals that, it is true Harold was a Rock boom energy drink fanatic.
“It’s still unbelievable Harold just got a sharp pain in his shoulder, he fainted and was rushed to Nsambya only to be announced dead. This life ain’t fair” Kalungi Bridget posted in pain. She later on cautioned people to be ware of the regulated energy drinks’ effects and regulate there consumption. On the same note, she apologized to Harris International the makers of Rock Boom for disreputing their brand.
She says that she was trying to caution those that over use energy drinks because they were the cause of her brother’s death. Although she kept standing on the fact that, Harold used too much Rock Boom, which falls in the picture.
“Dear friends, In the aftermath of my beloved brother’s death, I went through an unimaginable pain and hurt and as a direct consequence lashed out to Rock Boom, claiming it was responsible for his death. In hindsight, as my heart settles, I realize I was quite unfair to Rock Boom, and I unreservedly apologize to them for bringing their brand into disrepute” Kalungi started her apology.
“I know Harold Kasujja took a lot of energy drinks and that is a health hazard according to several studies so I was merely trying to caution the rest of us to take these energy drinks responsibly. May his soul rest in peace” She concluded her caution and apology.
It is still a hard time for the family, but still we should not ignore her advise as many developed countries kicked out energy drinks.

An energy drink is a type of drink containing stimulant compounds, especially caffeine, which is marketed as providing mental and physical stimulation. They may or may not be carbonated and may also contain sugar, other sweeteners.
So as you see, all energy drinks contain unregulated caffeine quantities which is disastrous to human health. Caffeine also causes ; Increased heart rate, High blood pressure, Heart palpitations, Insomnia, Dehydration and Restlessness.
Energy drinks also contain other substances touted to improve energy, such as taurine, ginseng, vitamin B, carnitine and bitter orange. Which are also harmful if taken in large quantities.
