Life has been breathed into a one month old baby that was found abandoned at City Square by Uganda Police Force. It is still not clear of who dropped it there, but whoever did it, must have done it with a purpose that the police will find it up there. Since City Square is at Central Police Station (CPS),
Luck was on this baby’s side as police led by Afande Nduhura Ivan was on a patrol find it while on daily routine of night operations, and it was at 1am when the baby was found well wrapped in clean baby shawl and well covered from the coldness.
While talking about this, Afande Nduhura Ivan confirmed the event and affirmed that the baby has already been forwarded to Sanyu Babies home in Mengo. This heroic act has been applauded by the police and the masses and clearly portrayed the police motto, To Serve ad to protect. Kudos Afande Nduhura, God bless you and the little one.
