NBS TV’s Sheilah Nakabuye confirmed Dead

Gloom has yet again hovered over Next Media Services. South Western Uganda Bureau Chief Sheilah Nakabuye has been reported dead hours after she had brought life to this world.

According to Sheila’s Mother, ” Sheilah Nakabuye gave birth normally to a bouncing baby girl but slipped into a coma just after that. She developed seizures and by Monday morning doctors at Mbarara Regional Referral hospital pronounced her dead. She suffered pre-eclampsia which wasn’t properly attended to.”

By press time, Sheila’s body was still held at the hospital as preparations for her last funeral rites are underway.

Sheilah Nakabuye has been an employee of Next Media Services in charge of news from South Western Uganda. She has been living and working in Mbarara City at the time of her death.

She was born in Butambala district. In her senior six vacations, Sheila’s love for media prompted her to pursue it, and that’s how she managed to raise her tuition to the University. She attained her degree in Mass Communication at Uganda Pentecostal University in Fortportal district.

Sheila developed a special interest in covering women and children’s news at all levels. Her career objective is to improve communities and personal abilities to serve a big population.

Sheila’s death took workmates at Next Media Services by surprise and some took to their socials to express their feelings about her sudden demise.
