Museveni Orders Sacking of Senior Police Officers Over Mbogo Clan Meeting

Exclusive news getting to our desk indicate that furious and angry President Museven has just issued an order to severely punish his boys. These are the senior police officers that were commanding the dispersing with tears gas of the Mbogo clan meeting that was taking place in Mityana district.
Clear sources revealed to us that the President through a phone call, he instructed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Ochola and directed him that Bob Kagarura, the commander for Wamala regional police and Mr Alex Mwine, the Mityana District Commander should face the disciplinary committee and be sacked.

“The president is bitter; to him this was a blunder on the side of police. The President is sensitive about matters of Buganda Kingdom and does not want to antagonize them, especially in this election year,” the source quipped.
It should be known and noted that, Mbogo clan meeting chiefs had on Saturday convened at their ancestral site in Mugulu, Ziggoti town. They were to attend a thanksgiving prayers event for their leader, Mr Gajuule Kayiira Kasibante after he was appointed by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

Police, then intercepted the event and started to disperse the meeting with tear gas to the non violent people. This intensified when the area police was tipped that NUP President, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert, aka Bobi Wine was to be available at the event.
