Kawempe North’s newly elected parliamentary representative Muhammad Ssegirinya has been rushed to hospital under severe medical condition, he is sick not dead as rumor has it.
The legislator was unconscious and unaware of his surrounding by the time they arrived to the hospital as he could not even move and had to be taken to the emergency room on a patients’ wheel chair.
This happens in less than twenty-four hours after the yet to be sworn in Member of Parliament survived the trials of the coolers after court granted him bail yesterday. It is widely believed that he got the sickness from jail.
Muhammad Ssegirinya, had been held in prison for some time after he lead a peaceful demonstration in Kampala during mid-May. The Member of Parliament has since been behind the bars and only got a breather yesterday.
Although his lawyers had applied for bail earlier on, the petition was denied by the Magistrate due to the controversial presentations that were submitted by both his lawyers during the same court session.
