Today in the afternoon hours hell broke loose when inmates and hardcore criminals broke the prison and escaped with guns. This happened in the Northern part of Uganda from Moroto Central prison and the hunt for them is ongoing currently.
Also, this website learns that the inmates are those that have appeared before the Division Court martial, they are therefore dangerous. We further learn that s heavy gunfire exchange left two UPDF soldiers killed and one inmate also according to UPDF spokesperson Brig. Gen Flavia Byekwaso.
