The comic duo Maulana and Reign have teamed up with Music Africa Uganda and released a new single for the Kabaka of Buganda dubbed Kuma Omwana Wa Mutesa.
The new song, Omwana wa Mutesa with visuals full of praises for the Buganda King and showering love to his highness as well sending him unending love and praying for his life and good health. This comes after Kabaka Mutebi appeared in public while in a bad health state.
The song basically is about a special prayer of protection for the Kabaka with the tittle Kuma Omwana
Wa Mutesa literally meaning keep Mutesa’s son. The song comes after the Kabaka made his 66th birthday in an ill and sickly manner who could not make a public speech that provoked off the public to utter different kinds of words.
Well, the Buganda Kingdom kings have all descended from the Mutesa family that is historically hereditary where a son inherits the father’s crown once he passes on. The audio project was penned by Joshious Dryla and produced by Music Croft’s Davie who gives the soft and well blended melodies classic beats.
