Police in Rukungiri is wildly hunting for a man that is allegedly killed his own cousin sister by using a stone and crashed her head badly that saw her brains spill all over bled to death. The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate has identified the dead as Kyobutungi Allen Barireta a resident of Karushanje Village in Rubanga Parish in Buyanja Sub County.
It is further alleged that after committing the crime, this 37 year old killer only identified as Tibeyendera Damiano eloped from the area of murder and up to now, his whereabouts are still a mystery. The cause of this is said to be a quarrel picked by the deceased and the killer in Nshungyezi Trading Center where she was reportedly drunk and when they reached at their home, they started fighting.
“It was at this time that Tibeyendera overpowered the woman, picked a stone and smashed her beyond recogonition” Elly Maate confirmed the killing and said more investigations are underway to establish what transpired through the whole ugly act that took a life at Rukungiri Police Station under reference number CRB 1278/2020 on Murder Case grounds.
