TANZANIA – Just a few days after the body of former Tanzania president John Pombe Magufuli was buried, his successor Samia Suluhu has continued from where the Iron Man stopped from. As this is being read, the president has fired the Director of Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) Eng. Deusdedit Kakoko.
This comes after the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) report that stressed that Tanzania lost a whooping TZS 3.6 billion (around Ugx 5.6bn) by The Tanzania Port Authority. Samia Suluhu has on the same note ordered the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) to start investigations and establish what transpired.
This has come out to show the public especially Tanzanians that the late John Pombe Magufuli was succeeded by his true clone. Meanwhile, fired TPA boss Eng. Deusdedit Kakoko may not only face being fired, but also be sent to jail if the findings from the investigations implicate him.
