The Uganda radio broadcasting fraternity is being shocked by the sad news that Western Uganda’s King of radio broadcasting Tiguragara Suleiman Matojo is dead. This ugly news has been announced by his former employer Crooze fm, an urban radio station found in the Western part of Uganda.
Suleiman Tiguragara Matojo is dead and has been on radio for over 18 years and he has been a legendary radio show host in Mbarara city, Western Uganda. The cause of his death is still not official yet, but close sources from Crooze fm quipped to our Times Corps that he died shortly after contracting COVID-19.
He has been hosting Enyaangyi political show, where he has been tackling a lot from the Uganda’s political ground on neutral grounds. However, it should be remembered that before he came to Crooze fm, he was coming from the Ibanda district based radio station known as Rwenzori fm.
However, before all that, radio, he was the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Lyantonde district, where he served the ruling government before his laying off.
His fans, radio listeners, radio show hosts and many more have poured their grief and condolence messages to the dead, and have been wishing him a peaceful rest. The burial arrangements for Tiguragara Matojo are under way and he will be laid to rest probably tomorrow. Rest in Peace King of Radio, Tiguragara. Turyakushangayo!
