John Katumba accuses security for his current state. He says it’s a result of the extensive torture and beating he faced during uring his election campaign.
John Katumba being one of the opposition leaders that had contested in the 2021 general election. Things were not good on his side mostly in Fort portal And Kabarole. He faced some bit of challenges with the police which he says have come to affect him.
He accuses the government agencies for having treated him with a lot of force which has now put his life in danger. However, Katumba also says he does not want a penny from anyone but will instead resort to selling his books to seek media attention in case need arises.
“During my campaign in Fort Portal and Kabarole I was extensively tortured and beaten which has now affected my health. I am in a lot of pain. And I do not want to bother anyone with my medication bill. I will maybe sell my books so as to seek medical attention whenever need arises.”
