While appearing at his home State House in Entebbe during the International Women’s Day celebrations, President Yoweri Museveni has vowed to make Daily Monitor Newspaper bankrupt. In his words, he says that he is so saddened by the ‘truth’ they wrote about him. Museveni is to sue Daily Monitor
While extending his frustration, the General Yoweri Museveni has said that, he is to sue Daily Monitor because they lied that him and his wife hid secretly and got the COVID-19 vaccine and left Ugandans aside and exposed to the pandemic. In the same speech, Museveni reacted saying that he has already filed the case up to face the paper in court.
More so, he says that he is happy he is going to get money for his party NRM free and too much money after sending the paper into bankruptcy. However, he again asserted that, the only thing that can save them is if they roll down on the ground and ask to be forgiven by the president.
“In the meantime, I am going to get from Monitor money for my party, because they said that I had hidden and vaccinated myself and my wife secretly. I have already put the case in court, Monitor i will make them bankrupt unless they apologize and lie down and say sorry. If they don’t, am really going for them” President Museveni asserted about to sue Daily Monitor.

He continued to say that, the same paper said that he left Ugandans at risk, which is not the case. That that is not how Ssabalwanyi behaves. He never thinks for himself alone, but instead he thinks for his people first.
“That I am a selfish man who hid with my wife and got injected when other Ugandans were at risk, that is not Ssabalwanyi, he doesn’t behave like that” President Museveni ended.
