I Regret Showing My Political Side – Ronald Mayinja Wails

Kadongo kamu folk musician Ronald Mayinja finally apologizes to his fans for showing his political side. This was  during the last presidential campaigns where he appeared in the NUP red corner and later on turned tables and crossed to the NRM yellow campaign.

Early this year the legendary singer was seen actively running onto politics like many musicians who
joined Robert Kyagulanyi in the National Unity Platform. He never lasted there and immediately rushed
to the ruling party NRM where he was given a chance to make the campaign song.

Many Critics came out to warn Ronald Mayinja but there words passed on in the wind. He again confused many when he recently come out to warn artistes about never showing their true political sides because they will lose fans like he did.

Shockingly, many as they saw him swallowing his earlier words which where, “Fans are always there and will never appreciate why we make certain decisions. I was broke and singing for President Museveni
was a job opportunity I could not chase away like that. NRM approached me like any client. They were
impressed with the song”
