Hillary Owino finally got his long overdue reward after he was captured on camera while torturing a heavily pregnant woman in Bar-Opuu Ward, Adekokwok sub-county, Lira Municipality. This happened three years ago.
In the June 2018 video, the accused, Hillary Owino seen pouring water on a naked pregnant victim who was later identified as Rose Acen who at the time had allegedly stolen a mobile phone and money as accused by two sisters, Margate Alum, a social worker at Lira Referral Hospital and Esther Amolo.
He told made an appearance before the Chief Magistrates’ court in Lira where Hillary Owino was charged
with torture and remanded back to the coolers by Chief Magistrate Zeneba Natukunda untill
the 13th of May 2021.
Resident state Attorney Jacinta Kkaya also disclosed to media that Hillary was remanded since
the matter at hand is still undergoing investigation and a trial shall be set immediately after
investigations have been concluded.

The other two culprits Margaret and Esther already served their punishment while Hillary Owino has
been on the run but his forty days finally elapsed as he was arrested last week and now stands
before the low to receive his cold dish.
