After music promoters received their money early this week, city promoter Balaam says musicians
should wait for their money which will be given to Cinderella Sanyu their president.
Up to now Uganda musicians haven’t yet got the money which was promised to them by the president, not even concerts are opened yet making them desperate. Now Balaam has arranged with the UMA president.
Earlier this week money was given out to promoters, this added fuel to the fire making musicians cry out
on why they where not called first because their the ones suffering most.
Balaam has come out to assure them that their money is the next and it will be given to Uganda
Musicians Association (UMA) president Cinderella Sanyu for equal sharing. And all musicians are expected to get a share.
Many of Ugandans are left wondering why the Music Industry has not yet been opened since the struck
of Covid-19 earlier last year, the government has not shown any sign of opening the industry up and not
even given any help to the music industry.
