Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba ships his birthday celebrations to Kigali

The first son of Uganda Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced how he is shipping his birthday celebrations outside of the country. Via his Twitter handle, Muhoozi said that he will take his birthday celebrations to the most beautiful city in East Africa. And this is Kigali according to the former SFC head.
Muhoozi also added that his uncle, the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame will supervise these. This will be his 49th birthday as he was born on the 24th of April 1974.
“I’m glad to announce that my 49th birthday celebrations will be held in Kigali. The most beautiful city in East Africa. My uncle, President @PaulKagame, will supervise all activities.” Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba
It should be recalled that last year saw several birthday celebrations of the General spread across the country. These became a heated topic in the country as many wondered what his motive was. And it quite became clear that these were political in their nature. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba used them to launch his political career despite being a serving American officer.
All calls for him to abstain from engaging in political issues because of being a serving active army officer proved futile. His father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni also put a stop on these birthday celebrations but it didn’t take long for them to resume once again.. Muhoozi has now made it clear how he’s set to run for presidency come 2026. It’s not yet clear whether his father will step aside or if they will go head to head.
