Former Busoga United Custodian Wagima Benson Rejoins Soltilo Bright Stars

Golden glove winner, Uganda Cup 2018/19 season Wagima Benson is excited for rejoining his former side, Soltilo Bright Stars. Wagima completed his move to the Mwererwe based side on Friday 18th September and he signed a two year deal from Busoga United and He rejoined the Japanese owned side on a free transfer after running out of contract with Busoga United.
“I must say Bright Stars is my home and it won’t take long for me settle and showcase. I have learnt alot in the past years that surely place me steps ahead from were I was before.” he said. Wagima Benson further noted.
The 23-year-old has formerly played for Kirinya Jinja SSS (while in Big League), Busoga United and JMC Hippos FC. The former student of Walukuba West Primary School and Yale High School is notably known for his leadership skills and a great commanding voice that will be of great help to the team.
It should be noted that Bright Stars ended the season which was abruptly cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, in the 12th position with 29 points.
