Sad and breaking news reaching our News desk affirm that property worth millions of shillings has vanished due to the fire that gutted the Kyambogo based Megha Royal Foam Mattress factory.
It’s reported that the fire is likely to have started in the wee hours of the night at around 3:00 am and still on with authorities trying to save some of the property using fire brigades.
According to the locals and eyewitnesses, the fire is said to have caused great damage and still spreading wide with Fire Brigades on the ground trying to have the matter rectified.
However, the cause for the outbreak of the fire is still uncertain as investigations into the matter have commenced to ascertain the general cause of the fire at the firm.
It’s however reported that the Kyambogo based mattress firm is almost down with most sensitive departments ablaze and beyond recognition.
