Faridah Nakazibwe has fallen in things, and as you read this, her position has stepped up at the local television, NTV. This comes after Josephine Karungi who was head of news at the Serena based Tv station left for a juicy job to World Bank as a consultant as sources reveal.
Josephine Karungi was the Head of the News department since 1st October 2018, and now news reaching our desk reveal that Faridah Nakazibwe has taken over as the position. This is a sign of appreciation to the “Mwasuze Mutya” presenter after 10 years of being loyal to NTV.
Faridah Nakazibwe at NTV has become some popular growing her audience socially with the way she has kept all together professionally. She is also currently listed in the top sexiest social media females on Twitter. That is how she has held the mantle those ends.
Faridah Nakazibwe Biography
She was born to the late Hajj Shakib Ssenyonjo and Hajjat Sarah Ssenyonjo, in what is present-day Sembabule District. The second-born in a family of eight siblings.
Education
She attended Kisozi Boarding Primary School, in Kisozi, Gomba District for her early primary education. After the twist of things, when the land hosting her school was acquired by president Yoweri Museveni and converted it into Kisozi Cattle Ranch, Faridah transferred to Bwala Primary School, in Masaka, where she obtained her Primary Leaving Certificate.
Faridah Nakzibwe then joined Taibah High School, in Kawempe, Kampala, where she obtained her UACE. She then went on to the Islamic University in Uganda, (Mbale campus), in the country’s Eastern Region,
graduating with a Bachelor of Mass Communication.
Journalism Career Journey
Following the completion of her journalism degree, she was hired by the now defunct WBS Television as a reporter. Two years after, she was hired by NTV Uganda, where she works as a news anchor of the
evening Luganda telecast and a program host for Mwasuze Mutya.
Relationship and Family
Faridah is currently single after a breakup with her Nkuba Kyeyo boyfriend Omar Ssali, she has two daughters, whose father is Engineer Dan Nankunda . And she ended their relationship some time in 2015.
