Exclusive but yet to be confirmed news coming in to our desk indicate that singer turned politician, Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone has bowed out of the Kampala Mayor race. This is according to a close source from Chameleone’s camp.
This rumor comes in a time where 11 people have already shown interest to run for the big seat at City Hall and they include three artistes. These are, Ragga Dee, Jose Chameleone and Charles James Ssenkubuge, which makes the mayor competition so stiff.
It is further said that during working busy hours, Jose Chameleone’s team is currently seen redundant showing no signs of having any business to handle. And to confirm the rumor, it is being alleged that Jose Chameleone posters have all been removed from his office.
