Ugandan Twitter’s second most influential, CEO Birungi Foundation and the main brains behind the PadsThruCovid campaign Esther Birungi has made a hit back after starting the famous PadsThruCovid Campaign a few months again and has visited more districts herself to push and extend more pads help to those women and girls affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The joy and happiness she got after successfully giving out the pads to girls, she could not hide it. In addition, thus rushing to her social media accounts and share the joy with her followers. In her words, she asserted that she visited Kamuli, Luuka, and Kaliro districts and met up close and personal with more than 200 girls and teenage mothers for moral support.
“I can’t seem to describe how amazing #PadThruCovid Eastern Uganda campaign was, We visited 3 districts one of them being Kamuli district where one of my role models Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga hails from,also Luuka and Kaliro districts.We talked to 210 girls including teenage mothers” Esther Birungi quipped after giving out pads.
It should be noted that she is set to keep doing these visits for herself throughout the country. In addition, to keep extending the help to the female gender that can not manage to pull through the red times because of the limited resources. Thank you Esther Birungi.
