The “Semwyekozo” hit maker, Eddy Kenzo during an interview finally revealed why his relationship with fellow singer Rema Namakula did not work out even after a long courtship, they just broke up.
According to the BET award winning artists, unlike his love to keep his life private, ex-lover Rema Namakula would rather feed social media with every single detail of what is happening in her life.
Due to this clash in interests, the duo could not work out their differences and stay in a relationship together which saw them part ways and settle for a life away from each other. Since the shocking break up, Eddy Kenzo has not come out to utter a single word and this shall be remembered to be the first time he said anything in relation to the untimely end of their relationship.
Back to 2019, the country was awoken to the shock of the couple splitting that was right away followed by an extravagant introduction ceremony between Rema and new found lover Hamza Ssebunya.
Prior to the break up, Rema had hinted on ending their long time affair with songs like “Siri muyembe,” “Linda” which all indicated her discomfort in the relationship right from 2015. However, these did not give any indication as to why they could have broken up aside from he fact that Eddy Kenzo had probably taken donkey’s years to pop the question which Rema was desperately waiting for.
Aside from this, fallen Muslim cleric Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata also came out to criticize young men who delayed to propose to ladies they had spent a lot of time with in relationships. He referred to them as “love niggas.”
