Eddy Kenzo and Big Talent boss is at it again as he releases his latest Monie (money) song which is a remix of the legendary Kanda Bongo Man. This is off his latest Made in Africa Album 2021, and the story behind this song is so amazing.
While on his Album listening party, Eddy Kenzo revealed how he came out to do this song, and he says that, it was because of luck. Yes, he says he was called by Balaam Barugahara who had brought Kanda Bongo Man that Kanda Bongo Man had ordered for him to meet him.
After a long story, Kanda Bongo Man thanked him for keeping original and doing his songs in his original language Luganda. From that case, Kanda offered Kenzo to do a remake/remix of his first ever song, Monie (Money). This was like Kenzo picking a land title in his names! That is why it is made, Monie (money) song.
It should be remembered that, Eddy Kenzo just dropped his Made in Africa album 2021, which is a 21 track album and it includes songs like Monie, Missounwa, Born in Africa, Lock, Songa Mbele, Shakamo, Mamacita and more.
