NBS After 5 show host Douglas Lwanga in an emotion dripping tweet said adios to long time serving and experienced Uganda Cranes team Captain Denis Onyango last night. The renown presenter slightly hinted on the politically infiltrated atmosphere in the Ugandan soccer world which has surpassed even parliament while sadly biding since 2005 Cranes Captain.
“A wise man once said, there’s more politics in the music industry than even in parliament” but
guess what, the politics in Uganda soccer is unbelievable. Farewell Denis Onyango
#UgandaCranes,” Douglas Lwanga remorsefully typed.
Onyango’s exit from the National team comes only days after former team deputy captain Hassan Wasswa set his pen on paper and broke the hearts of many while announcing his unexpected
departure from the same team.
