The Uganda Police Force (UPF) patrol car have this morning been involved in a very nasty accident that left many police officers badly injured. This happened when the same police patrol car pursuing Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential flag bearer Patrick Amuriat Oboi.
This incident, happened at Kyatanga trading center in Kyegegwa when the police car with officers have been following and racing towards the convoy of POA who was headed for a campaign trail this morning. The number of the injured have not yet been fully established although, it is in the range of 3 to 6 police officers and Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) officers.
On the same note, Forum For Democratic change party have released a statement asserting that the police car was actually chasing it’s presidential candidate for the 2021 general elections. In the same statement, FDC asserted that their Team was helping in the evacuating of the victims.
T\Further more, the ones involved in this accident, got fractured bones, and deep cuts on their bodies. By press time, the Uganda Police had not said anything about the accident, and it is believed an official communication will be made. Quick recovery our police officers.
