BREAKING – Fire burns down Makerere University’s main building. This is the University’s most recognizable symbol as it appears on every piece that talks about Makerere University. It was constructed to complete way back in 1941 with funds from the Colonial Development Bourse.
According to the universe’s social media platform, the fire sauce is not yet known but people and the fire brigade tried there best to bring down the fire.
This happened late in the night which made it hard for the fire to easily be put out. Many people were sleeping and by the time they saw the fire flames, it was already late. Half of the building was already burning.
However, this did not stop the University to call the Fire brigade because they could not bear the damages made by the fire.
In much grief, the many more prayers were requested for the Makerere University Main building because there was little hope of many people coming to their rescue but they believed that God can do something.
The building being almost 40% wood and 60% paper and computers the UgPolice fire brigade reached a point and run out of the water which left the building on the mercies of God
