Azawi Sets this Friday as the Release Date for Album Dubbed ‘My Year’. Swangz Avenue songstress Azawi who had musically gone silent for a couple of months has resurfaced with yet a lot packaged in one new musical album.
The singer became a centre stage of conversation after dropping her sensational singles Lo Fit and Quinamino that thrilled revelers then.
Despite going mute, several critics had started ‘prophesying’ her musical fall due to earlier success and lack of consistency something she has proved them wrong by hinting on about her new album dubbed ‘This Year’.
Azawi is one of the latest musicians to be signed up by the Muyenga based crew Swangz Avenue and well she has enjoyed the Ugandan musical space but her silence had made her go off people’s minds.
Her return with a new music album is going to spark a new controversy, as this has become a new trend where artists are embracing recording music albums to mint more money from their songs rather than single projects.
Azawi just like her fellow singers at Swangz Avenue she is yet another undisputed talent that is gearing up to beat up the music competition amongst fellow women despite not releasing any song My Year.
