The well known comedian Anne Kansiime together with her family is in mourning for the loss of her lovely father Chris Kubiryaba.

This tragic loss comes months after Kansiime lost her biological mother. The father died on Thursday and this was shared on different social media pages by fellow comedian Teacher Mpamiire.

Kansiime also finally accepted the death of her father, passing on a remarkable statement of the father not standing the long distance after the mother’s loss.

“Long distance relationships are really difficult. My dad has gone to be with mom. Rest in peace daddy. Still Good above everything,” Kansiime wrote on Facebook.

The comedian’s sister, Shine Omukiga has also mourned through her Facebook account.

“Rest in peace, my father and friend. I will miss you so much Mzee. Send my love to mom,” She wrote briefly.

On the contrary, Anne was accused by her previous lovers to have been in an affair due to a contact saved in her phone as ‘Lollipop’.

“Well, I call my father lollipop. I have always done that since I owned my first phone 17 years ago, something that cost me a few redundant relationships growing up with sons of women assuming I was cheating on them whenever my dad would give me his daily routine evening calls to check on me,” She confessed.

Furthermore, a vigil program has been organized today 28th january 2022at their biological home in Butobere, Karugasha Kabaale District.

Thereafter, there will be a memorial service starting at midday. This will be held on 29th January 2022 at St Luke’s Butobere. From church, they will proceed to lay the body to rest at 2pm at their ancestral home in Kitanga, Rukiga district.
