AFRIMMA Awards 2020 happened and they were exclusively held virtually on their official YouTube channel. This event saw African music ruling the night, as several artistes exhibited epic performances. Only Uganda’s James Onen (Radio personality at RX Radio) managed to make it to the award winning list.
However, the usual name that we all expected to be on the list of winners, Eddy Kenzo was grounded by Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz to scoop the East Africa best male artiste award 2020. Other Ugandans that were nominated like Sheebah Karungi did not also get a thing.
