Dr. Bitone is a musician who has shown interest in the forthcoming election. He is contesting as a councilor in Makindye division under the NUP party.
While appearing on local television, Bitone alleged that Musicians Like Aganaga and Jose Chameleon were not given the NUP tickets because they a politically unstable. They can not lead the electorate. He also added saying that musicians need to understand that being Bobi Wine’s Friend doesn’t mean they are potential leaders in the NUP party.
“Musicians should know that being friends with Bobi Wine is not a free ticket within the NUP party. This must come with capability. Those who did not receive the NUP ticket lack political potential. They are not leaving as a good example to others. This makes them incapable because they can not be able to deliver services to the people from the government .” Dr. Bitone said.

As though that’s not enough, he also added saying that even if he was positioned to give out tickets. He would not give Aganaga a NUP ticket because he is not capable.
However, he didn’t forget to characterize himself as a good example to the people. He said he is a potential leader because he lives an exemplary life. He can deliver services to his people from the government.
