Uganda is one of African countries with the most talented people in almost every field. Although different pedia personalities are talented, they are paid different ranging from the platforms or companies they work for and the experience they have in the field they work in. Here is the list of the most highly paid media personalities in Uganda.
When it comes to the media, some media houses are known for paying their workers little money even when they are extra talented and have the best experience in what they are doing. There are also people who have left the main media house to create their social media platform that gives them money than they were earning.
One of the highly paid media personalities in Uganda is Kasuku real name Katende Isaac. He has been working in the media for close to 10 years. He first worked for live stream media house big later decided to dedicate his full time into working for himself on different media platforms.
He said that receives more than UGX10 million monthly which is far better than those working for media houses. Canary Mugume the NBS news anchor is also among the highly paid television presenters. In the leaked spread sheet of payment for Next Media workers, he gets 7.5 million shillings monthly.
Douglas Lwanga who is a presenter of NBS After five is also among the highly paid workers in the industry. He left NTV Uganda to work for NBS which meant that he was given a lot and soruces reveal he earns at the range of Ugx6m.
Katamba Edwin also known as MC Kats is also among the highly paid television presenters in Uganda. He said that he can’t leave the station despite being asked so many times. He is the one that helped Douglas Lwanga go to NBS television as they were very close friends.
Our number five is Sheilah Gashumba who has worked in almost all media houses. Apparently, she works for NRG radio and she is always making it clear that she works for people that value her work and pay her well.

The list is very long of the most highly paid media personalities in Uganda and the likes of Samson Kasumba, feature on the list although he is not among the top 5.
