Uganda is the country of enjoying life and that involves entertainment like concerts and other performances. Unlike the other African countries, Uganda has a concert almost every month and those concerts bring a name to musicians and even make them money. The more successful concert, the more powerful an artistes feels and the bigger the brand of an artiste. There are some musicians who hold concerts and they flop without people showing up to support them and it somehow ends in loses.
In this year 2024, there are some musicians that have held concerts and lucky to them they have been very successful.
Sheebah’s Neyanzizza concert at Lugogo cricket oval is one one the most successful concerts in this year 2024. It is concert she announced saying that it is her last as she will be taking a break from the music industry to concentrate on her life. Fans showed up in very huge numbers and due to crowding some fainted during their concert.
Jose Chameleone also held a very successful concert this year at Kampala Serena hotel dubbed Legend in Gold. It was an expensive to attend concert but people still showed up in huge numbers and watched him as he performed. Being a legendary musician come with good money.
Lydia Jazmine who doesn’t usually hold concerts this year early March she pulled off a very successful concert at Hotel Africana. For artistes it is very u predictable if it will work or not but this time, she was very lucky that it worked out for her.
Weasel also made it this year with a successful Memories of Goodlyf concert 2024. It was his first big concert ever singer and his best friend Mozey Radio died. Although it was successful with big numbers in attendance, the organizer Nobart Events claimed that they didn’t earn so much money from it in fact they ended up in loses.
Number five is Lil Pazzo who released a hit song Enkudi and lucky for him he made a concert out of it. It was very successful one that he thought would maybe never ever happen in his life. This happened in Entebbe and the whole venue was filled to capacity.
