The well known Naguru based radio station called NxtRadio lost its audience recently and the CEO unfortunately laid off some employees and reshuffled.
There was reapplying of new radio hosts for different programs leading to some old staff being re-recruited and some were told to search for jobs elsewhere.
The applications came with some new talents who have also been recruited to revive the Radio’s energy and these include social media entertainer, actress Martha Kagimba aka Martha Kay, K-Drive radio presenter James Peterson among others.
Reports from the Naguru based station allege that Martha Kay will be working with Peterson and Ronnie McVex To present the Radio’s “Nxt transit” evening show.
A statement made by the radio management days ago stressed that they have re-strategized and are now ready to get back to business.
“We have retreated, refocused and strategized on our future, re-deployed some of our talents, and brought some new faces on board. Next radio is now ready to return to the airwaves on Monday, March 28, 2022, starting at 6:00 am East African Time,” The statement read.
