As we all know that the Ugandan musician, Eddy Kenzo was on Monday 22nd, November 2021 announced as the award winner of the Best East Africa’s Musician beating Diamond Platinumz and many others.
As many were happy and congratulating Eddy Kenzo for selling Ugandan music across, a one Douglas Lwanga feels that Kenzo did not deserve the award.
While appearing on NBS After5, Douglas Lwanga was quick to say that he has come to a conclusion that kendo’s fans are always on social media and are ever ready to support him no matter what. He went ahead and said that his fans practically vote him even when he is not the best.
“Eddy Kenzo won Afrima award and we congratulate him upon the achievement but I also think his fans are just active on social media. They practically vote for him even when he is not the best,” he said
However, as a Ugandan, everyone expects Douglas Lwanga to be happy for Eddy Kenzo because he brought the award home.
It should be note, that, this leaves Eddy Kenzo the only Ugandan with the most international awards. Which automatically makes him the best musician for this award.
