On dropping her full album African Music 2021, singer and Swangz Avenue songbird Azawi appears in Thankful brand new song which is number four on her debut album 2021. The singer is proud to drop this song which she did a legendary artiste called Benon Mugumbya, she keeps releasing one by one.
Thankful is a song is done in complete English and as usual, it is a lit piece. She talks about how she is thankful to God and how she is slowly conquering the industry. Just after her release of Slow Dancing great tune, she drops African Music Album 2021 which has started making massive rounds.
This Covid-19 lockdown came in as a blessing to the creative songwriter Azawi, and her name has been painted on the wall of Uganda’s greatest of all time after releasing Thankful off her African Music album 2021. She is the first female artiste to release a full album in this whole lockdown.
Although, female artistes do not match males in Uganda as far as ‘lockdown’ albums are concerned, but at least Azawi has broken the ice. It is further known that legendary Benon Mugumbya features on the album too with some songs.
